Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles in the Earth’s environment that adversely affects humans, wildlife and their habitat. Plastic pollution can alter habitats and natural processes, reducing ecosystems’ ability to adapt to climate change, directly affecting millions of people’s livelihoods, food production capabilities and social well-being.
This project is created to alert and remind the general public about the environmental problem in an interesting, clear and straightforward way. There are two sections. The first section is about the current problem and challenges caused by plastic waste. The second section is about the actions required to resolve the issues. The colour aqua blue is mainly used for the first section of the current challenges. This cool colour resembles the cold reality and problems which need to be addressed. The colour orange is used mainly for the action part. This is to emphasize and draw extra attention from the audience and stir up the energy and motivation of the audience to take action. The layout, colour gradation, and shapes are used to guide the readers’ eyes to follow through provided information in order. The female figure is representing Mother Nature and the natural human desire to save the home planet.
