The expression “No Rain, No Flowers” stems (no pun intended) from the notion that while many people dislike rain, it is very much a needed resource for nature to bloom and bring its wonderful fruit. This inspirational phrase helps to remind everyone that with any challenge, comes growth and with growth comes new opportunities, wisdom, and a satisfying feeling of accomplishment and progress.
This project was one of the spring campaigns of HeyKim Creatives in 2022. Since many people were facing unique challenges all around the world during the pandemic, this ad was created to share encouragement and positive energy with viewers, fellow artists and businesses. The main colour is soft powder purple to resemble spring, the season of flowers. In the background, there is a pink tulip pattern in a blurry image to resemble the bright future that may not be seen clearly yet when it is still raining. The simple writing “NO RAIN, NO FLOWER” has a light-reflecting wet effect to resemble the rain with some water drops. This is to keep the image more clean and simple while having two visual elements in the small image.
